Senior Care Assistant – Helping Hands Allcare, Hayling Island:

Helping Hands Allcare Ltd is looking to grow our established and dedicated team. Helping Hands have been providing care to the Local Community for over 30 years

Our dedicated team strive to give our Service Users the best Personal Care there is, by adapting our Care Plans to suit everyone’s individual requirements. We are looking for a Senior Carer who is driven with passion, enthusiasm and someone who has excellent communication skills.

JOB ROLE:

Within the Senior Care Assistant role you will be working closely alongside the Care Supervisor and the Care Co-ordinator. You will be working 25 hours, 5 days a week and you may occasionally be required to take part in our out of hours phone duty.

You will receive:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of two years experience working within Health and Social Care
  • Ability to demonstrate passion for delivering excellent care.
  • Level 2 NVQ (Preferred)
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to your own vehicle
  • Non UK Citizens need to have a Right to Work within the UK.
  • Full DBS will be conducted after a successful interview

 

COVID 19:

Every week ALL Carers and Office Staff complete a COVID 19 Test. This is mandatory.

Care Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities
Our training programme will give you the opportunity to develop your skill set, and carry out a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as washing and dressing
  • Monitoring our customers’ well-being, and reporting any changes to management
  • Assisting with Light Housekeeping and preparing meals correctly when required
  • Getting to know our customers personally and providing them with emotional support and company
  • Assisting with medication to help maintain our customers’ health and well-being when required
