Senior Care Worker

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibility

Develop and supervise a team of care workers to provide high quality care that is safe, effective, and responsive to each customer’s needs and preferences. Support each customer to live their life the way that they choose as far as they are able. Respect customers’ choices and always promote their dignity and privacy.

A percentage of the working time within the Team Leader role will be committed to providing hands on care in order to meet the personal care needs of Service Users in a way that promotes dignity, respect and independence.

Take part in the out of hour’s emergency on-call rota. Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues, for example covering calls either directly or indirectly when Care Workers are sick or absent. Record emergency calls and escalate the information / incidents to the appropriate service.

Care Assistant

At Helping Hands Allcare, we highly value and look after all of our Staff and Service Users. Therefore, we are looking to hire confident and enthusiastic people who have a great passion in helping others. If you join us you will receive comprehensive training so that you are able to deliver exceptional, person centered care.

Duties and Responsibilities
Our training programme will give you the opportunity to develop your skill set, and carry out a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as washing and dressing
  • Monitoring our customers’ well-being, and reporting any changes to management
  • Assisting with Light Housekeeping and preparing meals correctly when required
  • Getting to know our customers personally and providing them with emotional support and company
  • Assisting with medication to help maintain our customers’ health and well-being when required
